Jerry and Josette Coleman are the founders of The Bless Cookies Community Network.  Driven by a compassion to spread brotherly love during the 2020 pandemic, they started baking, mailing, and hand delivering cookies to family, friends, neighbors and anyone else who came to mind. What began as a way to uplift people through a small treat soon became a deeper mission as the challenges of food insecurity in our community were brought to light. They began seeing how life changing it was for individuals who were facing food and financial hardships to receive nutritious foods, and learn how to prepare healthy meals.

They personally have always found fellowship and community through sharing meals and cooking for others. "Fueling people’s bodies through a comforting meal, and their souls by spreading the love of Jesus Christ is the heart of what we do." Through the community network they’ve built, they are able to connect individuals in need with food, and increase their access to vital resources to help them live healthier lives.
